1. Introduction

Triangle Business Intelligence Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Triangle platform at trianglehq.co. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service. Please read this policy carefully.

2. Information We Collect

Personal Information

When you create an account, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, and billing details. This information is necessary to provide and improve the Service.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, features used, and timestamps. This helps us understand usage patterns and improve the Service.

User Content

The Service allows you to upload and manage data including leads, job postings, applicant information, and files. We process this content solely to provide the Service to you and do not use it for any other purpose.

3. Google User Data

Triangle uses Google Sign-In and Google API Services to authenticate users and, where applicable, to access Google user data that you explicitly authorize. This section describes how we access, use, store, and share Google user data.

How We Access Google User Data

When you sign in with Google or connect a Google account, we request only the permissions (OAuth scopes) necessary to provide our Service. This may include your basic profile information (name, email address, and profile picture) and any additional scopes you explicitly consent to during the authorization flow.

How We Use Google User Data

Google user data is used solely to provide and improve user-facing features of the Triangle platform that you interact with directly. Specifically, we use Google user data to:

  • Authenticate your identity and maintain your session
  • Display your profile information within the Service
  • Enable features that you have explicitly authorized (e.g., importing data from connected Google services)

How We Store Google User Data

Google user data is stored on secure servers with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to this data is restricted to authorized personnel and automated systems that require it to operate the Service. We retain Google user data only for as long as necessary to provide the Service or as required by law.

How We Share Google User Data

We do not sell, trade, or rent Google user data to third parties. Google user data may only be shared in the following limited circumstances:

  • With service providers who assist in operating the Service, subject to confidentiality obligations and only as needed to provide their services
  • When required to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes
  • To protect the security and integrity of the Service (e.g., investigating abuse)
  • As part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, only with your explicit prior consent

4. Google API Services: Limited Use Disclosure

Triangle's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

  • We only use Google user data to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in the Triangle application's user interface.
  • We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except: to provide or improve user-facing features with the user's consent; for security purposes (e.g., investigating abuse); to comply with applicable laws; or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with explicit prior user consent.
  • We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements, including retargeting, personalized, or interest-based advertising.
  • We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless: (a) we have obtained the user's affirmative agreement; (b) it is necessary for security purposes such as investigating a bug or abuse; (c) it is necessary to comply with applicable law; or (d) the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.
  • We do not transfer, sell, or use Google user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
  • We do not transfer or sell Google user data to data brokers, information resellers, or any other third parties not described in this policy.

  • Service providers — third parties that help us operate the Service (hosting, payment processing, analytics)
  • Legal requirements — when required by law, regulation, or legal process
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
  • With your consent — when you explicitly authorize us to share your information

7. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase and other trusted infrastructure providers. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After account deletion, we may retain certain data for a reasonable period to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. User content is deleted within 30 days of account closure unless otherwise required by law.
